Wrinkle Relaxers also known as muscle relaxants are an injectable treatment for the subtle temporary improvement of moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles. They can offer a smoother appearance and each client's individual results can vary from person to person dependent on contributing factors. A full indepth consultation will always be taken to ensure this is the right procedure for your concerns and what you are hoping to achieve. Bel will only use TGA approved wrinkle relaxers and due to strict advertising guidelines we are unable to name any brands, but are always happy to discuss further on consultation and answer any questions you may have.
Fine lines and wrinkles are a result of a combination of factors resulting in cellular changes within the skin. Wrinkle Relaxers work beneath the skin’s surface targeting the underlying muscle activity which leads to these cellular changes. Wrinkle Relaxers can be an effective treatment and can also be used as a preventative measure in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. The amount of wrinkle relaxer used is dependent on the aesthetically desired result and the amount of animation and muscle activity in the treatment area.
Areas of concern which can be treated are Frown Lines, Forehead, Crow’s Feet (Eyes), Bunny Lines, Gummy Smile, Chin and DAO's (Downward Corner's of the Mouth). Wrinkle Relaxers can also be used in the enhancement of Smoker's Lines, Lip Flip, Masseters (Jawline Slimming & Teeth Grinding) and Eyebrow Lift. Wrinkle Relaxers will usually last anywhere between 3-4 months and do require regular ongoing treatments if you would like to maintain your desired result. Please note: All Cosmetic Injectable procedures do carry risks although these are rare and these treatments are not suitable whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.
All of our Nurse performed Wrinkle Relaxers are performed by our Registered Nurse, Bel. All first time time clients with Bel for Wrinkle Relaxers will require a full consultation prior to treatment.
A dermal filler is a Hyaluronic Acid based gel which mimics the naturally occurring sugar within our skins which depletes as we age. Hyaluronic Acid is a remarkable ingredient with the ability to bind with water. It creates an intense hydration effect whilst natural volumising techniques restore youth, erase lines and highlight facial contours.
Areas of concern which can be treated are lips including enhancement of the border and added volume, cheek volume and contour, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, jowls and definition of the jaw line, and the tear troughs. Dependent on which Hyaluronic Acid Filler is used results can last anywhere between 6 months- 2 years.
DERMAL FILLER PRICES
At Beauty Bar Aesthetics, Bel has the full range of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers. The Dermal Fillers are more variable and prices range from $290-$1500 dependent on how much is used, the results you are after and the type of dermal filler needed. To achieve your desired look a Cosmetic Injectable Consultation is required with one of our Cosmetic Nurses.
Full lips with a defined border are a feature of youthful attractiveness. As we age, natural components of the lips including collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid, that give the lips structure and volume gradually diminish. Consequently, the lips and surrounding areas become subject to volume loss and structural changes.
The corners of the mouth can begin to droop giving a sad or angry look (mouth frown). The Cupid’s bow (v shaped area of the upper lip), can flatten out, and smokers lines ( vertical lip lines) may also appear. Dermal fillers containing Hyaluronic Acid can be used not only to restore volume or plump up the lips, but also to create definition of the lips and surrounding structures.
The lips are a very sensitive area, and in addition to the anaesthetic contained within the fillers, additional anaesthetic is provided. The results of the procedure are seen immediately post completion of the treatment, but there may be some swelling, and the final result will be seen when this swelling subsides. Typically the fillers should last 6-12 months.
